Chapter 23: Bad Examples
This chapter was short and stupid. I'm relieved the chapter was short. I'm not surprised the chapter was stupid.
A few more years pass. Z-R is now a billion years old. Because Z-R wrote Growing Scourge and other terrible racist poems, the king of Plenarius, Shauel, is now also a card-carrying, vitriol-spewing, gun-toting, David Duke-loving racist. King Shauel has stopped doing all of his kingly duties, and now devotes 100% of his time to hating the Hamartians and figuring out to destroy them. King Shauel stops going to church because racism takes up all of his time, and the rest of Plenarius follows his example. Now because of Z-R the original racist, all of Plenarius has stopped going to church! Theophilus is preaching to an empty house.
Because the whole planet has stopped going to church, there is a dramatic rise in crime. King Shauel has also stopped being judge, jury, and executioner so he can be a racist full time, so now the legal system is also a mess, and people are being executed for no reason. Wait how is that any different from what was going on before?
Anyway, Z-R decides to try to fix this shit (that he started!) so he sets up a meeting with King Shauel and invites Theophilus to attend. Z-R proposes his plan: to attack the Hamartians and defend Plenarius simultaneously using cannons and shields. So his plan is... use cannons and shields at the same time. And something about satellites. Brilliant right?? Theophilus approves this plan, and the king also loves the plan because it has to do with killing Hamartians, so Z-R's plan gets approved.
